Healthcare Leadership & Advocacy

This is a longitudinal, 12-month curriculum aims to foster leadership skills for both hospital- and clinic-based practices and to develop deeper understanding of health disparities while engaging in advocacy. The track emphasizes core elements of leadership training, high-value care models, steps to engaging and leading advocacy levels and community partner engagement. By the end of this track, we hope to provide you with the tools to craft your own laws and become a leader in healthcare!

Leadership and advocacy are skills that transcend all levels of healthcare, especially in an increasingly complex and diverse world.  This track seeks to introduce residents to leaders, systems, and skills to become effective leaders and advocates in healthcare.

Important Information

Entry to this track is by application only.  Rising PGY-2 and PGY-3’s in good academic standing are eligible to apply.
