This is Pod A (Class of 2024)’s QI Project to reduce the rate of inappropriate aspirin prescriptions for primary prevention
Did you know that USPTF changed their guidelines for who should be on aspirin for primary prevention of cardiovascular disease? The Pod A second year residents have prepared a module for the program as part of their QI project to education people on indications for patients to be on aspirin and to encourage taking people off of aspirin if it isn’t indicated.
It’s a super short, 5 minute video with a quick pre and post test to assess your learning! Please complete the following steps:
