Rotations on the gastroenterology service will be between two and four weeks in length. Supervision will be provided by the gastroenterology faculty, assisted by the GI fellow(s). The inpatient education consists of inpatient consultation and rounds. Residents are invited to watch endoscopy but this activity is optional. The outpatient education includes (but is not limited to) the weekly gastroenterology clinic, and conference held either in the standard gastroenterology clinic or pre-endoscopy clinic. Educational conferences provided during the rotation include weekly Journal Club and Pathology Conference and the monthly fellow Case Conference.
